This young and international company creates high-traffic platforms worldwide, and these applications have millions of unique visitors every day. They are active in many countries and almost on every continent. Besides their existing platforms, the organization is also ready for the next phase as they want to enter other (sub)markets as well. This brings additional challenges in terms of technology and infrastructure. At this moment, they have Development, Infra, and Data & Analytic teams who are working very closely with each other.

As a Lead Linux Engineer, you will be working in the Infra team (6 FTEs) and closely with the Development Team (15 FTEs). You have a hands-on mentality to help build and maintain our infrastructure and always look for improving our operations. You are also eager to learn and teach the other Infra team members with your knowledge and experiences. They work in a flat and open organizational structure to change how they operate, everybody's voice is heard, and they are always looking for new technologies and smart(er) solutions.

• Educating yourself and others with the right capabilities and the latest innovations.
• Mentoring your team members on craftsmanship
• Guiding personal and technical development of your team
• Administration of current Linux servers and new clusters
• Monitoring, (preventive) maintenance, and bug fixing
• Take part in the weekly on-call rotation with your team

The Infra team use the following technologies: Ansible, CentOS, ELK Stack, GlusterFS, HAproxy, OPNsense, Percona Toolkit, Percona Server for Mysql, MariaDB, Proxmox Backup Server, Proxmox Hypervisor, Proxmox Mail Gateway, Python 3, Redis (sentinel), RabbitMQ, LEMP Stack, Ubuntu, Zabbix.

Furthermore, we are looking for:

• You are a great communicator that is able to inspire other team members;
• Proven record with Infrastructure in general;
• Good understanding of network administration and DevOps;
• Open to researching new technologies.
