No more digital vulnerabilities! The ambitions of the company continue and are therefore looking for their next Software Engineer with experience in PHP7+ to strengthen their current team. You will work in the offices of Alkmaar and will become part of a small IT team consisting of 2 front-end developers, a tester, a designer, one back-end developer, and a project owner. The two front-end developers currently work abroad, meaning you will have all opportunities to work independently. The organizational culture is also informal and therefore an ideal place to be yourself as you further develop professionally as a software engineer.

In sprints of 2 weeks, you and your team will work on our software application to perform security scans to enhance the privacy and security systems of our customer’s websites. Additionally, you will work on new features such as new rights and permissions systems, set up new API functionalities, and integrate external systems. All of this with the latest version of PHP. You will also create systems for sending (email) notifications, cronjobs, and imports. Lastly, remote working is also possible if you can go to the office at least 1 time in a week and if you desire to delve deeper into the front-end in the future, you can do so by all means. We are looking for an ambitious Senior PHP Developer that can work with tech stack PHP7+ (8), Azure DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes. You are also not afraid to ask questions and you look forward to forming part of a fast-evolving organization.

We are also looking for:

• Several years of work experience as a PHP Developer (PHP7+);
• Experience with CI/CD, Automation, and Cloud;
• Experience with TypeScript, NodeJS, and React is a plus;
• Affinity with hosting, domain, and DNS management;
• Excellent English level.

• Salary up to EUR 4.500, – per month (Depending on your knowledge and previous experience);
