Would you like to be part of our new world? As you already noticed, almost every home in the neighborhood has solar panels on the roof, and there are charging stations for hybrid and electric vehicles. As the demand increases nowadays, we need extra hands. 

Where are you going to work?

This company is located between Amsterdam and Utrecht. The organization is a leading wholesaler of everything related to solar panels, solar energy systems, energy management, and battery solutions. For these products, you can look and shop at their website. Their main channel is online, where you can find their product range. Like any organization, they once started small. But have now grown strong and are active in several European countries as far as the Caribbean zone. Due to further growth, we are looking for an experienced PHP developer who would like to work on and maintain our strong webshop to achieve further success together.

You will join a small and close-knit team. Here you will work together with the lead developer and the product owner. This e-commerce platform forms the backbone of all the activities. Together you make improvements to the webshop every day to make it run better than ever. Finally, you will work alongside other senior developers so that you can continuously broaden your knowledge.

What are you going to do?

As a PHP developer with us you will experiment a lot in Laravel. This so that new functionalities can be devised and to translate the wishes of our loyal customers. In addition, you will also maintain various PHP applications and do a bit of code review. Since quality is high, you will do your work and activities by means of PHP 8.1 and Laravel 9, with possibly a piece of front-end on Vue.js. No experience with a Front-End framework yet? No problem! Our more experienced Developers are open to teach you all the tricks.

Whom are we looking for?
We are looking for an enthusiastic PHP engineer with extensive experience with the LAMP stack, but if you have worked with another MVC framework that is also fine. In addition, you are a team player who functions well independently and in a team.

• Knowledge of creating API links;
• Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, Livewire, and GitLab will look familiar to you;
• You like to give your input in the project and also like to research new techniques;
• You are eager to learn and motivated to leave your comfort zone.

What can you expect?

• Salary up to EUR 5,000 per month (depending on knowledge and curiosity;
• 8% holiday allowance and 25 holiday days;
