They are expanding into new and exciting submarkets to become significant players in the gaming industry. And as their transition to a bigger office space in the center of Rotterdam is finally finished, they are again looking for new creative souls courageous enough to become part of the upcoming milestones.
 

As a PHP Developer, you will work at their new and luxurious offices in Rotterdam’s heart. That’s where you and 12 other backend developers will create and add value to brand-new and powerful high-traffic platforms. This, the 10K – 20K daily visitors they receive, and the terabytes of data also bring many challenges for their infrastructure, technology, and data area. Therefore, you and the rest of the development team will often collaborate with their Infra, Data, and Analytics team, contributing to your broad IT knowledge. 
 

Your focus as a PHP developer lies mainly in the backend with Laravel as part of their LAMP stack. The challenge for you will be developing new platforms from scratch to maintain and optimize them eventually. Some front-end work with Vue.js will also be calling out your name, but you will mostly be occupied solving intriguing duties at the backend. And the best part of it all is that the team is very international, welcoming Greeks, Ukrainians, and more!
 

We are looking for someone with the following toolkit:

• PHP, Laravel (or another MVC framework), MySQL;
• HTML5, CSS, JavaScript;
• Vue.js, jQuery, GIT;
• Unit- and integration testing;
• Please note that you must already be living and working in The Netherlands. Relocation is not an option, and this company does not provide Visa sponsorship.
