Where are you going to work?
You can find this organization in the heart of Utrecht and in the middle of the city center. This company is a field marketing agency that does sales and promotion activities for major brands throughout the Netherlands and already has 10 offices in 10 cities within the Netherlands. In addition, they have developed their own platform to enter all relevant data for marketing activities. Currently, the IT team has the ambition to build a new and improved ERP platform to take their marketing activities to another level. That is why we are looking for an experienced PHP software engineer who gets excited about building new systems with the help of Laravel and Vue.js.

In an informal and flexible working environment, you will find yourself in a working atmosphere with other young and enthusiastic developers. The IT team currently consists of 2 backend developers, a front-end developer, a product owner, and a tester. Finally, because it is a small team, they like to spar with each other, and everyone is involved from A to Z during all projects

What are you going to do?
Your input is therefore important. In sprints of 2 weeks, you and your colleagues will build and maintain a completely new ERP system. You will then work on what will become the core of the business, which means that you also like to take on responsibilities.

You will work in a MySQL database and REST APIs. You also have experience with design patterns and code review, you dare to be creative and you are not afraid to think along with the company. Since you will also be developing the new ERP system that the company will use for several years, it is important that you have the intention to work with us in the longer term

Whom are we looking for?

• Experience in PHP Laravel;
• Knowledge of MySQL, REST APIs, Git, and Jira;
• You are also familiar with the SCRUM methodology;
• Experienced with unit testing, JavaScript, Vue.js and DevOps as a plus;
• You like to work in a team within a small team.

What can you expect?

• Monthly salary up to €5,000 per month based on 40 hours a week;
• 25 vacation days and 8% vacation pay
