This young and international company creates high-traffic platforms worldwide, and these applications have millions of unique visitors every day. Large amounts of data traffic, storage, and processing power are what we deal with daily. We aim to have the servers as close as possible to the end-users. We have servers running on almost every continent. They offer high-traffic web hosting and other IT services for our sister companies. Besides its existing platforms, the organization is also ready for the next phase as they want to enter other (sub)markets. This brings additional challenges in terms of technology and infrastructure.

Note: We do not provide Visa sponsorship, and only applicants who are already living in The Netherlands are eligible to apply. Relocation is not an option.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be working in the Infra team (6 FTEs) and closely with the Development Team (10 FTEs). Working alongside our Linux Engineers, you will help improve our deployment strategy and research moving parts of our infrastructure to containers. As we work on a large scale, we are looking for someone with experience in load balancing and at least a good knowledge of the LEMP stack. You will also be supporting our developers with their needs for a better development workflow (CI/CD). We work in a flat and open organization structure where we can change how we operate. Everybody's voice is heard, and we're always looking for ways to improve our operations.

Your activities will be:

• Building and maintaining ansible playbooks

• Researching, building, and maintaining containerized infrastructure

• Set up and monitor CI/CD pipelines

• Take part in on-call rotation

• Administration of Linux servers

• Building of logging infrastructure and monitoring dashboards

The Infra team use the following technologies: Ansible, CentOS, ELK Stack, GlusterFS, HAproxy, OPNsense, Percona Toolkit, Percona Server for Mysql, MariaDB, Proxmox Backup Server, Proxmox Hypervisor, Proxmox Mail Gateway, Python 3, Redis (sentinel), RabbitMQ, LEMP Stack, Ubuntu, Zabbix

Furthermore, we are looking for:

• Experience with Ansible, Containerization, and load balancing;

• Experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines;

• Good understanding of LEMP stack and general server administration.
