PHP Developer | Rental Sector | Laravel, React, Docker | Salary up to €4.800,- per month.

This company is headquartered in the centrum of Rotterdam and offers several platforms that bring tenants and landlords together for properties such as shops, offices, and temporary homes. They do this by ensuring that the entire rental process (from finding a match to the invoice) happens digitally and effortlessly. Due to their fast growth and successes, we are looking for a PHP (Laravel) developer that would like to develop solutions for their current applications and web services and of course, create new ones.

You will work within an international IT team consisting of 8 people: the product owner, 2 iOS developers, 2 Android developers, 1 front-end developer, and 2 back-end developers. Important to mention is that the team truly is international. English is, therefore, the main way to communicate with your colleagues. It is of course a plus point if you also speak Dutch since you will also be able to provide input when it comes to client relations. They also value close team relationships and regularly enjoy some challenging cooking competitions or going a weekend away together to, for example, Belgium or Spain. And the best of all, they are located within walking distance from Rotterdam Central station and therefore easily accessible by any mode of public transport.

With your teammates, you will maintain and build new functionalities so that all tenants and landlords are in constant communication with each other and can handle all administrative tasks and other transactions safely through a variety of platforms. In other words, you will create, maintain, test, and debug at the backend while brainstorming with the other developers. You will also learn all ins and outs of our stack, mainly consisting of JavaScript, JQuery, React, Redis, Kotlin, Sass and more.

We are looking for an enthusiastic developer experienced in Laravel (or another MVC framework). You are also social and have the ambition to work alongside Android, iOS, and other developers outside of the backend.

• You have experience with database administration (MySQL, MariaDB or any other);
• You would like to learn more about Docker, Redis, and Amason S3;
